Robin Wood has been involved with Oakwood since the days when it was green fields and he feels a particular affection for the area. Robin joined the Conservative team with Pauline Latham and Richard Smalley in May 2007. He is committed to serving the people who live in Oakwood and protecting the environment that they have chosen to live in. Robin firmly believes in putting the interests of Derby people - and Oakwood people in particular - before party politics. What Derby needs now is common sense decisions that will help it prosper economically but do so in a way that will protect and conserve our fragile environment for future generations. As a former councillor with sixteen years service, he also has experience of the private, public and voluntary sectors that he hopes will give him an advantage that he can use for the benefit of Oakwood electors. |
